Mini Military Mud Run Taster @ Tanks, Trucks & Firepower Show 2015

The Mini Military Mud Run began in 2014, organised by Rugby company Military Fitness Circuits as a great way to raise money for charity. The event has grown quickly with hundreds of runners taking part annually. After recent success with Pain and Suffering Events the team at MFC are incredibly proud to announce their association with another successful company in Tanks, Trucks and Firepower show. On the day you will be able to attempt an obstacle course that has been designed by the team. But don’t worry you won’t get wet this is just a taster of things to come at one of their own races

Exciting Adventure Days for your children as you enjoy time to prepare for Christmas:

22nd & 23rd December.
8:30am- 3pm.

We have joined together with Old Laurentian RFC to run these two fantastic adventure days with the advantage of the RFC venue and facilities.

These days have been hugely successful. The children are outside, playing, learning and benefiting from activities aimed at giving them personal confidence, and skills in leadership and teamwork.

The days will be hosted at OL’s RFC. This will give us plenty of outdoors playing area, different walks, shower facilities, plenty of space indoors and also the possibility to provide hot meals.

Our days will consist of a morning of fun and games with MFC and an afternoon of activities with OL’s superb coaches.

You will find your children muddy and tired with huge smiles after these days!
To launch the days there is a special offer:

2 days £15

Robin Lal

Robin was diagnosed with a brain tumour in December 2009, when he was just 23 years old.  During the following two years, Robin underwent surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy.  Tragically in November 2011, the tumour became aggressive and sadly Robin passed away in March 2012.

Robin had so many qualities –  he was handsome, clever, kind, quick-witted, strong, courageous and brave .  A very special person, a bright light, a ray of sunshine, a unique individual, who always thought of others.

Robin started fund raising for the Willow Foundation, in January 2012, with the creation of the “Robin” badge – and thereafter,  fundraising began for Brain Tumour UK and Myton hospice.    Please support us to to continue fund raising by donating to one of Robin’s  chosen charities

Iron Run Rockingham

Hi all, as some of you will have heard unfortunately the Iron Run Rockingham WILL not be taking place this year. We have been away all weekend so not able to be in contact due to lack of signal. and We have found out that With Rockingham’s ever busy programme and needs our window to build the course deserved had diminished to just a few hours.

We have had as always a fantastic number of entries from you guys and once again team MFC was leading the way in shear volume of runners.

what however does this mean for you guys.

Option 1) Full refund

Option 2) payment taken for October Iron Run (Cranford hall) remainder refunded

Option 3) below

we have just spent a weekend in Kayaking at a place called Symonds Yat, it is in the Forest of Dean, a fantastic amazing place in the middle of nowhere, what we are proposing is as Team MFC we descend on the area carry out various activities, Kayaking, Climbing, Mountain Biking and many more, coming together and having a great big party afterwards. the great news is there is a host of children’s activities as well so not only can this be for the parents this can now be a fully blown family day and you can get the kids fully involved.

please please ask any questions and let us know your thoughts, every cloud has a silver lining and if we go to the Forest of Dean we will have an amazing time.

Sorry for all this hassle so lets put it right and have a great time.

Rat Race – Saturday 10th May

As you are all aware the Rat Race is nearing upon us 20 miles 200 obstacles. All of us from MFC that are running the race are doing a fantastic job supporting their chosen charities. Gavin and Carrie will be running the charity for Zoë’s Place Coventry a fantastic charity desperately needing funds to allow respite for children. Zoё’s Place Trust is a registered Charity providing palliative, respite and end of life care to babies and infants aged from birth to five years suffering from life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. This care will be provided in a caring, safe, home from home environment known as Zoё’s Place Baby Hospice.
We know that our clients are some of the most generous people we are fortunate to know, but along with Carrie Blenkinsop & Kelly Williams who is proving a massive asset to the trust in her fundraising we would be so grateful if you could spare a few pounds to sponsor our crazy run on 10th May.
If you can support the charity please donate to http://www.justgiving.com/Carrie-Blenkinsop
